Request for Proposals – 2020 AIN Conference
Thank you for your interest in presenting at the Applied Improvisation Network (AIN) World Conference 2020 in Ávila (Spain).
People were improvisers even before they started to write, creating stories based on their life experiences. As we represent what we see and feel, we can use Applied Improvisation to raise awareness of discrimination, prejudice and injustice.
That means we can work together to create a world in which everyone feels free to make their contribution to our emergent New Story. We want to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, feminism and environmental responsibility to build a future of collaboration and innovation.
And so the theme of our Conference is “From History to Ourstory”.
We’ll select proposals based upon the information provided on this form, as well as on how they fit in the topics below:
- Academia/Education: greater knowledge of AI in academia and exploration of its benefits
- Business/Workplace: enhancing groups’ skills to work more collaboratively and respectfully
- Cultural identity and inclusion: tolerance, awareness and acceptance
- Environment: collaborate to raise awareness of environmental stewardship.
These topics are not mandatory, but guidelines we’d like you to consider.
Proposals should be submitted before February 16, 2020.
If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified by email between March 30 and April 5, 2020.
Please note that AIN is a volunteer organization and we don’t offer financial compensation to presenters.
If selected to present, you’ll need to register for the conference during the early bird registration window to confirm your participation and be eligible for inclusion in our marketing announcements.
If you have any questions or concerns mid-process, feel free to e-mail our team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
